Hi Laurie! I know it's been a long time since I've emailed you, and I want you to know that I have not forgotten about you. I've just been pretty busy with stuff going on here at school.
As you might have guessed, I've come up with an idea for a new story. At first, I was just writing it to clear my head because there were some things going on in my life that were pretty tough to deal with, but then as I got going, I realized how much potential the story had. I started it as a short story, but it was not long before I realized that what I was writing was actually the storyline of a novel. That really excites me because I know I'll be able to put a lot of detail and emmotion into it, but it is also kind of trepidating. So what I think I'm going to do, is to sit on it for the most part now that I have written it, and then, after I have switched my major to English and get to be a junior or senior, I will use it as my senior project, Lord willing. But I knew that I had to at least send you the story line now, since you had so much to do w/ the development of my last story (which I still have, but have not done any serious work on in quite a while).
So, I hope that you enjoy it, and if for some reason you cannot open the file, then let me know and I'll try copying and pasting it to an email.

In His Grip,

Ben
